Education in Gaia Culture, updated Geomancy, and relationship with the Elemental Worlds of Nature

The school will take place in Slovenia in 2026 and will be held in English.

Why travel to Slovenia for such an education? 

First of all, the knowledge of modern geomancy as a form of holistic ecology has its roots in Slovenia. Through the worldwide geomantic work and teachings created by the Pogačnik family—Ana, Marko, and Ajra—this tradition has been cultivated and shared. Since the early 1980s, the family has developed Gaia-related geomancy as a way of life. Their wisdom has been made available through more than a hundred books in many languages, some of them inspired by the elemental and angelic worlds. Their message is not about abstract mental concepts, but about living expressions of art. 

Secondly, Slovenia is a relatively small yet highly diverse country, located at the crossroads of the Alpine and Mediterranean realms. It is rich in places of power and beauty. For the past 40 years, our VITAAA geomantic school has been active across the country, ensuring that its key sites are cleansed and attuned to the new era of Earth’s quantum leap in evolution. Many Geopuncture Installations, carved in stone with cosmograms, have been created throughout Slovenia and in neighbouring countries. This makes the setting for the proposed education truly ideal. 

The Education in Gaia Culture, Updated Geomancy, and Relationship with the Elemental Worlds of Nature is facilitated in English by Marko Pogačnik and his two collaborators, Maša Kovač and Gregor Matos. Together, they have been guiding groups in Slovenia and Croatia for 10 years. Alongside his daughter Ana, Marko has also led two-year courses in Switzerland, the USA, and Sweden; together with Ajra, he has taught in England and within the framework of the Hagia Chora School for Geomancy in Germany and France. Gregor and Maša have also led workshops in Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, and Poland. 

What awaits you

  • We will awaken sensitivity to both the visible and invisible dimensions of life and landscape. 
  • We will strengthen our grounding in essence, deepen inner peace, and open to the true face of life. 
  • We will explore ways of living in resonance with Earth and her beings. 
  • We will encounter elemental presences and companions on parallel levels of existence. 
  • We will learn methods to perceive and understand the many dimensions of nature, space, and the human being. 
  • We will travel into diverse landscapes of Slovenia, allowing them to mirror our own unfolding. 
  • We will share, learn, and celebrate together in a small, supportive circle—honouring the gift of embodied life. 

The Journey 

The school takes place as weekend workshops (Thursday afternoon to Sunday) in geomantically significant landscapes of Slovenia and its surroundings. Days are spent outside in nature or historical landscapes; evenings bring lectures and sharing circles.  Themes include: 

  1. Perceiving subtle dimensions of the landscape 
  2. Elemental beings as expressions of the Soul of the Earth 
  3. Vital-energy phenomena of the land 
  4. Earth in times of great transformation

Tuition & Support 

The fee for the year is €1,800, which can be paid in installments.
In special circumstances, the VITAAA Association offers partial scholarships upon request with application. 
If more than 12 participants join, the tuition will be reduced for everyone. 

Practicalities 

The fee does not include accommodation, meals, or travel. 
Within Slovenia, travel costs will be shared among participants in a spirit of cooperation.
